Bale Project at Art Jakarta Gardens 2023
Returning to the second edition of the fair, our booth will feature selected pieces by more than 25 artists. We are also excited to include a special presentation in collaboration with DEVFTO Printmaking Institute (Bali, Indonesia), as well as bronze works by Sunaryo as part of the fair’s outdoor sculpture park.
(F): Space, Time, Movement
A joint exhibition by Septian Harriyoga and Nurrachmat Widyasena
The exhibition's title, 'F', takes the mathematical symbol of 'style', referring to the themes explored by both artists and how they can depict the invisible forces of nature. In this exhibition, the two artists explore their curiosity about how artistic practice can be combined with science and engineering and see how the relationship between human understanding of the forces of nature relates to our conception of time, space, motion, and energy in the experience of human life.
A group exhibition with works by Adi Sundoro, Anastasia Astika, and Theresia Agustina Sitompul
Three artists who have different backgrounds, trace their personal memory and experience journeys. On the one hand, these experiences seem very personal, but on the other hand, they feel familiar and close to us. In this exhibition, each artist seeks to give new meaning to objects, which we easily encounter but often go through. Their works are excerpts and fragments related to the idea of memory, home, relationships between people, and the journey of human life.
